Stefan Sputkov, or "Sput", is a young man from Laronor who works at the same [[Empire Arms]] munitions factory as [[Jerra Lightlock]].

Sput becomes friends with [[Hennie]] after she stands against the local alley rat and bully [[Isabella Mortan]]. He is a member of the local regiment, pursuading Hennie to join the Reserves. His station is the Gundar, and he's present during the defence of the installation against the [[Ganzabar|Ganzabi]] in the [[Battle of Laronor]].</spoiler>
