The Laro ethnicity are those tracing descent to the historical population of Laronor and the surrounding Laronor Oblast. They are a large subset of the Sval ethnic group and share many Svalic traits, such as matriarchial name lineage. Laro are noted from other Svalics by a natural tendency of darker features and more slender faces, as well as a reputation for fiery opposition to authority.
