New Age Technology
Technology that is termed New Age is that which has been developed since the Collapse; ie. post-Gold Age developments. Due to the turmoil of the world at that time, "New Age" technology is built on altogether different underlying methods and practices than comparible devices from the Gold Age. As such, it has a distinctive look that marks it out from its counterpart. The common gold & colourful style from which the Gold Age takes its name is rather absent. New Age devices are often colder colours, such as dark bronze and cobalt.
New Age technology is pioneered in places like Risley, Comerl and Aubertz. It should be noted that, despite regaining a working knowledge of science and technology, modern engineers are still a long way short of the wonders of Azrune's apex.
