Nezzu Strait
The Nezzu Strait is a jetstream that bisects the Nezzu region in a line running roughly east to west. Historically, it lies between Ganzabar and Great Brazak; although part of the latter is now a part of the former. Nevertheless it has a symbolic presence in forming the division between the northern and southern spheres in the eastern region of the world known as Kelitzar. It is the location of several military bases, both Ganzabi and Brazakker; although the majority in between forms the Nezzu Neutral Zone which neither is permitted (by the terms of the St Lowes Treaty) to fortify.
Despite the high winds, the Nezzu Strait was once populated with hardy independent settlements known as the River Cities. By the end of the Third Nezzu War, all of these had either relocated, been absorbed, or were completely destroyed.
