Helm Ghost

Helm Ghosts are an Endemoan species of flying ray. They have wispy, almost translucent bodies that weigh very little. They are filter feeders, taking nutrients from tiny airborne microbes that they collect as they drift. Schools of Ghosts are seen occasionally, but mostly they are seen alone. Their slight bioluminescence and tendency to be drawn to ships led to their naming, as they appear to be almost like ghostly apparitions in dusk skies.
